Below, you can a few key steps that might help you solve WordPress website issues.

It’s very important to keep WordPress, theme and plugins up to date because new updates often contain important fixes and improvements.

Ignoring updates can lead to compatibility issues, malfunctions, or even a total website breakdown.

Themes Harbor themes

If your issue is related to a bug which has been previously reported to our support theme, it’s likely that the issue could already be fixed in a more recent version of the theme.

In this case, please update to the latest version of theme.

Here are a few examples of default WordPress themes:

If the issue disappears after switching to one of default WordPress themes, the problem is likely with the theme.

In this case, contact your theme provider company. For Themes Harbor themes, contact us to open a support ticket.

Disable plugins

There are thousands free WordPress plugins available, and countless more premium plugins.

Some WordPress issues appear due to conflicts with 3rd party plugins.

To troubleshoot installed plugins:

  1. Temporary disable all your plugins
  2. Re-enable plugins one at a time, while checking the issue after each one

If you re-enable a plugin and see the issue come back, contact the developer(s) of that plugin.

Themes Harbor themes

While our themes should work fine with most plugins, there is no way for us to test and guarantee that all of these plugins will be compatible with our themes.

If the plugin has been coded to WordPress’ standards then it should play nicely with our themes.

However, if you firmly believe that our theme causes conflict(s) with specific plugin, then feel free to contact us and we will be glad to perform an investigation.
