Pages in WordPress

In WordPress, pages are sections to show content, such as a Home, About, or Contact.

WordPress allows to have as many pages as you want and update them as often as needed.

Create page

To create a new page in WordPress:

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
  2. In the left sidebar, click on “Pages” and then “Add New”.
  3. Enter a title for your page.
  4. Add your content to the page using the editor.
  5. Use the right sidebar to add a featured image, set the page template, and set the page’s visibility and publishing options if needed.
  6. Click on the “Publish” button to make the page live.

Update page

To update a page in WordPress:

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
  2. In the left sidebar, click on “Pages” and then locate the page you want to update.
  3. Click on the page title to open the page editor.
  4. Make the necessary changes to the page using the editor.
  5. Use the right sidebar to update the page’s featured image, template, visibility, and publishing options if needed.
  6. Click on the “Update” button to save your changes and update the page.

Remove page

To remove a page in WordPress:

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
  2. In the left sidebar, click on “Pages” and then locate the page you want to delete.
  3. Hover over the page title and click on the “Trash” link that appears.
  4. A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm that you want to move the page to the trash. Click on “Move to Trash” to permanently delete the page.
  5. If you want to permanently delete the page and all its content, you can go to the Trash folder and click on “Empty Trash”. Please note that this action cannot be undone.
