Depending on a WordPress theme, the editor might display either one page template, multiple or none.
WordPress page templates usually add certain features or layouts to the page.
Change page template
WordPress provides an option to select a page template within the Block editor. In WordPress dashboard:
- Go to Dashboard → Pages.
- Choose a page to edit.
- On the right of the screen, under Page settings, locate Summary module.
- Next to Template label, click on the current template to open a list of available templates.
- Select a template from the list.
- Click the Update button (or Publish if not yet published).
Note, depending on the theme, custom page templates may also be available for posts or other custom post types.
