We’ve made some performance improvements in our premium themes which also affects the old versions of the blank child themes provided on our site. The new theme updates may require changes to sites that use those old child themes.
In the newer version, the child theme stylesheet is loaded automatically by the parent theme, so you do not need to enqueue it via the child theme. The change takes place in these versions:
- Aquene (1.1.2)
- Appetite (1.2.2)
- Hermes (1.2.2)
- Venture (1.2.2)
- Prosperity (1.2.2)
- Fortune (1.3.3)
Also, we’ve already updated all of our blank child themes:
- Aquene child theme (1.0.3)
- Appetite child theme (1.0.1)
- Hermes child theme (1.0.1)
- Venture child theme (1.0.1)
- Prosperity child theme (1.0.1)
- Fortune child theme (1.0.1)
The only difference between an old version and a new version of the child theme is that we no longer enqueue any styles in the child theme by default. If you are using the older version of the blank child theme, please contact us and we will help you to resolve the problem.
