tdMacro

tdMacro is a clean, modern and sophisticated masonry grid style WordPress theme made for any type of bloggers. This theme is fully responsive which allows your site to adapt to different screen sizes. Theme comes with a strong focus on typography and minimalistic design. Most importantly, tdMacro is easy to set up and manage.


Blog Layout

tdMacro comes with a masonry grid style layout. This layout optimizes the use of space inside your blog page by reducing any unnecessary gaps. You can either have manual post excerpts or automatic post excerpts. You can set it in the Customizer:

  1. In the Customizer, go to Theme Options → Post Excerpts.
  2. If you want to manually create summaries for your posts then select Manual excerpt option. You can have display different post summary lengths by using the More Tag. If you want to have automatic summaries then select Automatic excerpt option. By default automatic excerpt length is set to return 55 words.
  3. Click Save & Publish at the top of your screen to save the changes.

You can also have different layouts for the posts that have a Featured Image. These posts can be displayed either with the post content or without the post content. You can choose your layout in the Customizer:

  1. In the Customizer, go to Theme Options → Post with a Featured Image.
  2. Choose your option.
  3. Click Save & Publish at the top of your screen to save the changes.

Sidebar

tdMacro displays a three columns layout without a sidebar in archive views. Sidebar can be only displayed in single views. Add widgets to the sidebar area for a traditional two-column layout, or leave it blank for a one-column layout.


Featured Images

tdMacro uses Featured Images to help tell your story visually. They are displayed above the title on your blog posts both in archive and single views.


Widgets

tdMacro offers two optional widget areas in sidebar and footer area. To add items to the widget area, go to Customize → Widgets.


Social Links

tdMacro supports a handy Social Links menu, which appears in two areas of your website: header and footer. Linking to any of the following sites will automatically display its icon in your menu:


Custom Menus

tdMacro includes one more Custom Menu in addition to the Social Links menu. The main navigation is located under site title.


Custom Colors

To change site colors, visit Customize → Colors from your dashboard.
